Privacy Policy for Decluttr

Decluttr helps you review installed apps, archive app context, and uninstall apps more safely. This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and your choices.

2) Information We Process
A) Account and authentication data (if signed in)
- Email address
- Authentication state (signed in/signed out)
- Authentication credential processing by Firebase Authentication
B) Device app metadata
- Package name (app ID), app display name
- Install source signal (Play Store installed vs sideloaded)
- APK/source size, category, icon snapshot, and last used timestamp (if usage access is granted)
C) Archive content
- Notes, tags, folder names
- Archive timestamps and size snapshot
D) Shared text input
- Shared text payload and extracted package ID from Play Store links
E) Diagnostics and analytics
- Crash and exception data (Firebase Crashlytics)
- Product analytics/measurement data (Firebase Analytics)
F) Premium purchase and entitlement data
- Google Play purchase status for
premium_unlimited_archiving - Purchase token for server verification, and token hash for storage
- Product ID, entitlement status, plan type, and verification timestamp
- Billing result/error states used to complete purchase and restore flows
3) Permissions We Use
android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGESfor installed app inventory and archive workflow.android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS(optional) for rarely-used app recommendations.android.permission.REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGESfor user-initiated uninstall flow.android.permission.INTERNETfor Firebase, Play Billing verification, and links.
4) Where Data Is Stored
Local on-device storage
Room database and local app storage for archive items and app preferences.
Cloud archive storage (signed-in users)
Archive records may sync to Firestore under your account.
Premium entitlement storage (signed-in users)
Entitlement metadata may be stored at users/{uid}/entitlements/archive.
5) Third-Party Services

6) Retention, Controls, and Security
- Archive data is retained until removed by you or app data is cleared.
- Sign out clears local archived data according to app behavior.
- Entitlement metadata may be retained for fraud prevention and purchase restoration.
- You can edit/delete archive entries, export/import data, sign out, revoke permissions, and restore purchases when signed in.
- We use reasonable safeguards (TLS/HTTPS, Android/Firebase platform controls), but no system is fully risk-free.
7) Additional Notes
Decluttr is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us for review and removal.
If cloud features are used, data may be processed in countries where Google/Firebase infrastructure operates.
We may update this policy over time and will update the date above when changes are made.
